Founded in July 2018, the association OpenTelematics e. V., has established a software-independent standard interface for the transmission of telematics data.

The solution, developed by the founders themselves, establishes software architectures with harmonized description and configuration formats for embedded software in the telematics market. Users in the logistics industry benefit from short implementation phases and low investments in their projects.

OpenTelematics is aimed at telematics providers and software manufacturers with a focus on European countries.
